Recognising that ‘one-size does not fit all’, the programme will be delivered in four distinct cohorts of similar-style businesses, which means you will benefit from the experience of like-minded business leaders and focus on issues important to your business.
You can choose your cohort from these categories:
Established Business: Designed for established businesses looking to solidify their foundations and make plans for a prosperous future. Participants will receive targeted support to enhance stability and long-term growth strategies.
Rural Enterprise: Addressing unique challenges of rural businesses, such as access to markets, technology integration, and sustainable practices. The programme aims to boost productivity and profitability while preserving the distinct character of rural enterprises.
Family-owned: This cohort focuses on the distinctive dynamics of family-owned businesses, helping to ensure a thriving legacy for future generations.
New Enterprise: Designed for startups and new businesses, this cohort offers essential support in navigating the early stages of business development. It covers foundational aspects such as business planning, market entry strategies, and securing initial funding to set the stage for long-term success.
Eligibility and Details
The Council has widened eligibility for this programme so as many local businesses as possible can access this opportunity. To participate, you must be a registered business in East Staffordshire and have a desire to better your business.
The cohorts will have different start dates but you will need to register by 15th August to begin in September.
There is no cost to your participation as the programme is fully funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
