The Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) has been set up by Innovate UK as part of a network of elite technology and innovation centres. It aims to help the UK navigate the transformation of our whole energy system and capture the new electricity, heat and combustible gas commercial opportunities created.
The ESC has recently established a framework intended to increase consumer insight. The framework will enable ESC to work in an agile, adaptive way with innovative researchers, using researchers to support their work across the energy sector, and putting people at its heart.
Winning Moves was successfully awarded a place as one of four suppliers on the qualitative research lot of the framework (lot 2).
Michelle Hollier (nee McGuire), Director of Research and Consulting said “I am really pleased about our appointment on ESC’s Consumer Insight Framework. Consumer understanding, education and behaviour change is key to the ESC’s whole systems approach and we are excited to be part of this. We have extensive experience of using our qualitative research skills to inform energy policy and strategy for clients such as BEIS, and we are looking forward to applying these skills to deliver insight for the ESC.”.
