We are Winning Moves, a Birmingham based, fast-growing research and evaluation consultancy with evidence at the heart of everything we do. Governments trust our data and insights to inform their policy and service decisions and improvement. Through the development and implementation of robust, high quality social research and evaluation, we help our clients to tackle some of society’s toughest challenges.

We need a hands-on, forward thinking and motivated Field Supervisor to lead our Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) research team. You’ll have a proven ability to inspire and drive fieldworkers to deliver high quality, profitable and timely outputs.

Some of the things we’d like you to do include:

>      Building and motivating your team. We’d like you to attract, recruit and retain high calibre, productive and engaged remote telephone interviewers and train them in the telephone techniques needed for outbound calling.

>      Ensuring data collected is of the highest quality. We’d like you to effectively monitor, manage and optimise sample, quotas, interviewers and other fieldwork operations to ensure completion of research projects on time, to budget and to quality.

>      Providing clean datasets on fieldwork completion. We’d like you to prepare data ready for analysis, including anonymisation / pseudonymisation and coding of open ended responses.

>      Supporting with wider research requirements. We’d like you to support the wider project team as required (for example instrument development (through piloting), questionnaire testing, scripting, database preparation etc).

A bit about yourself: as well being able to do all the things mentioned above, you will have at least a years’ experience (preferably more) of successfully supervising CATI field teams or supervising in another outbound call centre environment where the collection of accurate and quality data is important. Your successful track record of meeting targets and delivering against key performance indicators is underpinned by your strong communication skills, talent to inspire and demonstrable ability to follow quality procedures and compliance with GDPR. You will have a good understanding of the operational side of outbound calling (e.g. sample management) and be able to lead by example (e.g. demonstrating exceptionally strong telephone techniques).

You are a logical thinker with strong written and numerical ability. Embracing new technologies, you are quick to learn and keen to fix failure points. Additionally, you will have great attention to detail and an uncompromising approach to quality. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and welcome opportunities to challenge and develop yourself.
