Our CEO, Adrian is an experienced executive, having started and grown several businesses in the field of business support, software development, and data collection and evaluation. He has worked with the public sector in the UK, and internationally, for more than 20 years; helping develop strategies and deliver programmes that help with the birth and growth of SMEs. His work has touched and influenced more than 100,000 businesses, with demonstrable impact on performance: profits, productivity and growth.
Adrian Talbott BSc
Adrian has a strong track record of using research and evaluation to help clients improve their future activities, benefiting from his firm grasp of how clients’ research objectives map to regulation, policy making and targets. Due to his background in sustainability, he brings a strong technical, as well as policy understanding to the resource and energy efficiency projects he leads on. Adrian also has experience in a diverse range of other policy areas including gambling, business tax, technology and innovation.
As our Analytical Consultant, Alicia is skilled at providing statistical insight into large scale datasets and helping clients identify significant outcomes and trends. Delivering across the breadth of the project lifecycle, Alicia is experienced in designing and implementing appropriate and robust solutions to complex challenges. She is also tasked to develop our repertoire so we can continue to improve our analytical capabilities to deliver further insight and value to clients through our work.
Amanda is a skilled researcher with wide ranging experience across a number of policy areas including waste, energy, planning and business productivity. Although at home working with quantitative data, Amanda’s real passion lies in qualitative methodologies. She brings a real ability to engage with respondents on their terms and handle sensitive issues with a light but careful touch, obtaining full and honest answers to probing areas of questioning.
Catherine is an experienced, all-round researcher, borne from a strong foundation in both quantitative and qualitative interviewing. Qualitatively, Catherine deals easily with people at all levels and asks questions that makes respondents think and talk. Quantitatively, Catherine demonstrates her analytical skills and critical thinking whilst also ensuring our fieldwork approach and team will best meet our clients research objectives.
Daljeet Johal BA MSc

Daljeet has over 10 years’ experience delivering qualitative research to support programme development and policymaking, and has particular expertise conducting in-depth, one-to-one interviews either face to face or over the telephone. Daljeet has experience of working across a range of policy areas, including energy, planning, digital, public health and social care, business support and learning and skills.

As Business Development Consultant, Debs works with the senior team to develop and deliver our strategy; working with both the Product Director and Research and Consulting Director she identifies and connects with our future customers and associates. She works creatively to innovate interesting and engaging means of sharing our story with our existing and prospective client base, ensuring our service and product offering is communicated to those who will benefit from working with us now and in the future.
Doros Georgiou BSc MSc
Doros’s excellent knowledge of survey methodologies ensures that collected data is of a very high quality. Doros is skilled in quantitative methods, providing new insight to inform the evaluation of a variety of programmes and policies – he is an accomplished modeller and uses complex statistical techniques to interpret trends across large survey datasets.
John uses research, delivering against all stages of the project lifecycle, to help clients meet their wider objectives. He is a skilled researcher and brings expertise and knowledge of researching audiences and evaluating programmes across a number of different policy areas including transport, environment and sustainability, planning and business productivity.
Karl is an accomplished researcher and evaluator and designs and delivers research and evaluation to aid the development of policy and programmes. As a pragmatic problem solver, he considers client’s research questions in the context of their wider strategic objectives before developing bespoke solutions, often synthesising best practice and innovative approaches.
Kate is an integral part of the software team; she has responsibility for testing new pieces of software. It'll be up to Kate to try as best as she can to ‘break’ it! She brings considerable expertise of working with learners, higher education institutions, government agencies and businesses. Clients appreciate Kate’s flexible nature and prompt resolutions when responding to issues.
Kieran is an accomplished and highly skilled creative who has designed and overseen a multitude of branding and highly innovative creative marketing campaigns for winning moves. His creative designs have been used to promote business support programmes and software products that have engaged thousands of businesses.

Mark is an experienced business consultant and company Director, having played a variety of roles in the development of Winning Moves since leaving the world of finance in 1999. His work has included developing and managing numerous best practice, innovation and enterprise development programmes in the UK and overseas, including driving the creation of more than 40 benchmark centres around the world. He also has a passion for working directly with businesses, particularly on strategy development.
Michelle Hollier BA MPhill

Michelle Hollier (nee McGuire) is a highly experienced researcher and evaluator with a track record encompassing government programmes, policies and interventions for an international client base for over 15 years. She provides strategic level consultancy and advice in relation to policy and programme design and implementation that is routed in evidence generated by our robust, intelligent research.
Mohammed brings a wealth of experience of developing software, during which time he has developed excellent skills in a number of programming languages and technologies from extensive exposure to windows, web and mobile applications. Leader of our software team, Mohammed is enthusiastic, talented and methodical delivering high-quality, cutting-edge software for our high profile clients.
Sadia Altaf BA
As Office Coordinator, Sadia undertakes a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business, including supporting our finance, administration and HR functions. Originally employed as a telephone researcher, Sadia is also excellently placed to support the recruitment of our telephone field force, as well as managing teams of interviewers.
Samina Vohra BA

Samina is a highly experienced project manager and is proficient at identifying and managing risk and critical path; she has a strong track record of delivering on time and to budget, and has worked on many of our large, complex or challenging projects, including for WRAP, BIS, HMRC, DCMS and Innovate.gov. Samina ensures that the project team are fully briefed on their contribution to the project and coordinates and deploys resources to ensure that our projects are delivered according to agreed milestones and overall timetable.

Zoë is responsible for high quality delivery of our projects and programmes, as well as the day-to-day running of the business. A highly experienced project manager, and driven by success, Zoe has managed projects to the tune of £60m. She has delivered some of Winning Moves’ largest enterprise projects and has been instrumental in developing a robust and quality-controlled delivery infrastructure. Under Zoe’s stewardship, our enterprise projects have delivered significant impact to businesses and to the economy.
